ICT Leaders Debate: Live Chat

The ICT Leaders Debate, held by the Australian Computer Society and broadcast on Sky News, saw ALP Communications Minister Stephen Conroy, Tony Smith from the Coalition and the Greens' Scott Ludlam put forward their respective positions on broadband, censorship and sustainable computing.

It was also one of the first chances the press would be given to question Smith on the Coalition's alternative plan to the NBN, announced just two hours prior.

We felt the occasion warranted some expert analysis - with editor-in-chief Nate Cochrane, iTnews editor Brett Winterford, Online Banking Review editor Charis Palmer, telecommunications reporter Juha Saarinan and experienced IT reporters Angus Kidman and Anthony Caruana coming together to discuss the broadcast with readers.
