Pacific Internet, through its reseller Techlink, has commenced a 70-site managed connectivity and security roll-out for Capt’n Snooze, the national bedding franchise, as part of a 36 month contract.

Pacific Internet, through its reseller Techlink, has commenced a 70-site managed connectivity and security roll out for Capt’n Snooze, the national bedding franchise, as part of a 36 month contract.

Under the agreement, PacNet and Techlink will install managed high-end Cisco routers at 70 Capt’n Snooze stores to allow connection to a private IP network.

PacNet managing director, Dennis Muscat, said the service provider would also pre-configure and deliver these routers, with ongoing management and maintenance of the service remotely.

Capt’n Snooze IT Manager Lionel Van Niekerk said the IT department won’t have to monitor each connection.

“Handing over the management of our network to Pacific Internet was a significant business decision,” he said.
