NSW Police have seized computer hard drives and documents allegedly related to the production of false identification, such as licences and taxation records.
According to a Police statement, the computer hard drives and other documents were seized during search warrants being executed by its Task Force Gain investigation.
Detective Inspector Mick Ryan said the contents of the computer hard drives would be analysed by specialist police.
"It is expected the outcome of that analysis will consolidate existing briefs of evidence relating to home loan frauds and might expand our inquiries further."
The operation involved detectives attached to Task Force Gain, the NSW Police Fraud Squad and the National Identity Crime Task Force, according to the statement.
"This investigation follows on from a Task Force Gain inquiry into a complex mortgage fraud. Thirteen people have already been charged," it stated.
