KAZ Group has won an $11 million, three-year contract to provide technology infrastructure and additional project services to Western Australia’s Department for Community Development.

KAZ Group has won an $11 million, three-year contract to provide technology infrastructure and additional project services to Western Australia's Department for Community Development.

Under the contract -- part of the WA government's Strategic Partnering in Resourcing Information Technology initiative -- KAZ is responsible for the department's servers, 1,600 desktops and laptops across departmental offices in WA, the company said.

KAZ would manage the department's service desk, desktop, server and network facilities and maintain internal and external security, the company said.

The win follows KAZ's announcement last week that its wholly-owned subsidiary Atune Financial Solutions had completed the first deployment of its superannuation membership administration software Atune at the Labour Union Co-operative Retirement Fund (LUCRF).

Its Atune software links imaging, internet and CRM systems. Using the software, LUCRF can query and analyse the demographics of its customer data to support new marketing programs or product offerings, KAZ claimed.

It stores all membership data, reports and customer files making them available through internet and intranet facilities.
